I am starting a new relationship...

Oh dear meal planning will you have me?

Matt and I are wanting to eat better and improve our nutritional intake. It is said that meal planning will help me to 1} save money 2} Save time 3} improves nutrition.

I have a friend who does this and she says she likes it.  Can I do it?  

I thought if I found some cute graphics or list to print and post on fridge it would be fun and helpful. ;)
So here is what I found...

Then I also found a really cute template that would be nice n simple. I could just fill it in.

Each day of the week had an image of an old school cafertia tray.  The open spots were for only one starch, veg, salad, and main dish. 

I set a goal right here right now... I will start a meal plan. I have got to cook more in this new n extra wonderful kitchen. 

Kitchen Remodel

I thought this remodel was never going to happen. I have been stashing away green back for years-well since matt and I've been married.  I wanted to do it even before that . It seemed like something always came up. Tires, speeding tickets [whoops], baby items to buy, bills, and the list goes on. 

Matt and I are hoping to move to Sandy down the road. So we thought we would start to fix up the condo to hopefully get a better price. Our first project was the floors. Out old carpets and in went laminate floors; which I love. Sam loves to drive his cars across them so fast.  The second project was new interior doors. I went out of town while Matt and Steve (my step-dad) worked on those. He surprised me with starting the tile in the entry way. We put new baseboard up too.  Our third project has been the largest, the kitchen.

Our kitchen needed a remodel, BAD.  Now to the fun photos.

This is the old cabinets; which i painted yellow-bright sunshine. The counters are split pea green...

OLD basic sink with an old faucet which was trashed.

Here is my honey pulling out the cabinets piece by piece.  A lot of work & a BIG MESS.

 When we hauled the old cabinet up to Matts parents I had the whole back of our car filled! I am so happy to have those gone!

The new cabinets filled our whole living room area.  No places to sit for a day while we took out the old ones. 

The new counters match so well with the cabinets. I love them.

I had to move my blog account. It took a while but here I am. I hope to update more often even if I just

put up photos of sam, matt, family, events, life, nature, good bargains.
