I LIKE Turtles

Years ago I made a list of things I want to accomplish in my life.

I found my list today and noticed that I have accomplished and ENJOYED several of the items on my list.

  1. Wearing a ring on my Left hand.- being married.
  2. Being Prego. Being a mom.- loving my cute Sam!
  3. Traveling to Colombia- (which I have done twice now)
  4. Visit a Whale in his natural environment-

A whale I saw up close on the Oregon Coast. Thank you Amy for having a birthday and thank you matt for taking us.

One dream yet to be achieved is to see a sea turtle in his/her natural environment. Matt and I hope to travel to Costa Rica some day to experience the culture, eat up the yummy food and see Sea turtles live.

Now these next few photos are of turtles at a theme park in Florida; which does NOT count.

The Turtle I personally named Murtle...

Hello Murtle, how are you today.

Cinnamon Rolls.

Earlier this week Alexis invite myself, and several other ladies to make these EASY cinnamon rolls and blog it. To be honest, this was my kick in the butt that got me started on my blog. I have been waiting for months to start blogging and finally here I am web-world.

I have had a whole week to think about yummy cinnamon rolls and blogging. AND have I thought!

My most favorite memory with these wonderful treats is with my grandpa Hillstrom. I rememb
er going to a little cafe in Washington, somewhere, and having breakfast donuts and rolls. The cinnamon rolls at this particular cafe were the best. A warm, gooey, messy goodness. My grandpa is now in heaven and I image him having coffee and cinnamon rolls with Jesus.

A fun memory that I now pass onto my little family. This morning I attempted to make cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I say attempted because I didn't realized until after starting that I did not have all the ingredients. Off to the store. First we got ready and ate something different (& not so interesting) for breakfast.

5 hours later, Samuel was down for a nap and I started a second time on crafting up some yummy goodness. Here are some photos of the fun

ALL the ingredients, minus the raisins.

Yes Matt toke a photo for me.

The end product. So easy and fun.
Thank you Alexis for this great idea.
