Here I am with 13 items. This might be cheating. I say it is being creative. ;)

That is me in the picture. (It is one of my favs)

The 13 items are the 13 books next to my bed.
All which I am reading-glancing at-enjoying.

  1. The confident Women, Joyce Meyer
  2. A mom after God's Own Heart,
  3. Bring up Boys,  Dobson
  4. Love & Respect, Emerson Eggerichs
  5. Pagan Christianity, Frank Viola
  6.  Surprised by the Power of the Spirit, Deer
  7. What to Expect the Toddler Years, (this one is a quick reference)
  8. Sugar-Free Toddlers (a cook book of sorts)
  9. Helping Children Cope with Separation and Lose,  Claudia Jewett Jarratt
This one is to help me get in the framework of Master's level reading.
  10. It is Time, Hume. I just recently received this book as a gift. I am slowly reading this one.
  11. Take Four, Karen Kingsbury
  12. Raising the Adopted Child, by Lois Ruskai
    (insightful to my life)
  13. Managing God's money, by Randy Alcorn

Sorry for the bad photo. It's from my phone.

Day 11 = Something Blue

My very own tent. This was quite a big purchase for me. I researched all sorts of tents and finally decided on this one. Now that I am a mom and wife, we don't use it. :( but as a single gal I was so proud to sport it. I was Caroleana- Out-door women. wwhoo rahhhaa.

Day 10

30 Day Photo Challenge

Day 10 = Childhood memory

Yes a gold can of spray paint !?!
Humm..
My grandpa Stickney poured cement for a walk way at his old house in California. He had my brothers and I put our hands in it, with our ages and names. Then he sprayed it Gold. It always made me think of the streets in Heaven. I am sure I could go back to their house in California (they have now moved to Idaho) and find the gold hand-prints.  Years later when my dad put up his fence he did the same. Its a weird Stickney thing I guess.

Day Nine

30 Day Photo Challenge

Day Nine = Someone you Love

This one was really hard to choose.
I love a lot of people.
Matt
Sam
GG
family
 friends
..
Of course God.

But this is my big brother John. He lives in Texas so we don't see him that much.  I love him.
A sibling relationship that goes beyond words.

Day 8

30 Day Photo Challenge

Day Eight= A bad habit

Yes before you is a Crab. A friend who is also doing the 30 day challenge was very honest.

So here I am being honest. I am a Crab. In the morning you don't want to talk to me.
I can be touchy. I am a friendly person, but if you really know me. You know I can be a crab.
It is something that I am working on: not to live by my emotions.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Galatians 5:16-s

Day 5

30 Day Photo Challenge

Day Five = From a High Angle

These are the natural Bridges in Trout Lake Washington. Lave cooled and formed these old caves, which have now collapsed and left these natural bridges.

Thus the name.

These were so cool to see.  The photo here barely shows the bridge aspect, but look closely and you will see it.

You can see Steve in the clearing of the trees there.
He is in all blue.  He brought his awesome rad camera. I took my photos with my cell phone. I forgot my awesome kinda rad camera. bummer me.

Oh well, I still was able to capture the memory.

Day 4

30 Day Photo Challenge

Day four= Something Green
Yesterday was a really good day.  I thoroughly enjoyed being with my wonderful family.   I couldn't decided which green photo to use so here are a few.

We went up to Washington to the Natural bridges near Trout Lake.

I LOVE how the water dew drops are still fresh on this green wild ginger. The leaf curls up a little on the lower left corner. It it like the leaf is trying to keep the water up

I love the rich green moss on the rocks. There is my little boy so happy to be out in nature.

After the hike we went to lunch. Then to Hood River to get apples and pears. We went to Mt. View Orchards. Sam loved that they had tasters available. :)

These green apples here were the best ones of all. We bought a few.

Day 3

Day three= clouds

Photo take on a road trip to Yakima last week for my great uncle Elmer's 80th Birthday.  Please ignore the dirt on the windshield. :)

Day 2

30 Day Photo Challenge

Day two= What you wore today
I am behind. Sorry all.

I have chosen to take a picture of what I wore the day I wrote this post and not the day I am actually posting it. Mostly because I worked today.  I wore gross old running shoes with holes, jeans with holes, and old shirt to clean in.

So here is my cuter outfit.

The jeans are a thrift store find (which I love)
Free top from my mom's closet! thanks mom.
